The competition has been running for the past 60 years
Organisers took the decision to cancel the event in the interests of public health and safety.
They say the whole ethos of the competition is that people come together within the community and work collaboratively to make their areas attractive and welcoming and this is not appropriate at this time with the current Covid19 restrictions
