All restrictions on movement will end this month with the tourism and hospitality sectors set to open ahead of schedule.

From Monday the country will move to phase two of the easing of lockdown restrictions with people allowed to travel anywhere within their county.

All retail shops will be allowed to re-open and people can gather indoors or outdoors in groups of six.

Sports teams can return to outdoor training and the number of people allowed to attend a funeral will increase to 25.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said they've moved elements of phases three and four forward.
