Two Cork childcare providers are launching a national childcare representative group which they say will give the sector a strong and unified voice.
John Bowman and Lorna Leahy from BEL Childcare in Douglas founded Full Day Care Providers this week and already have around 200 members.
The group say they are concerned by plans to reopen childcare settings by June 29th, especially after the government was forced to scrap a childcare scheme for healthcare workers yesterday, just days before it was due to be rolled out.
