26 pubs could be prosecuted for breaching Covid-19 regulations including two pubs in North Cork.
The licensed premises were found to be flouting guidelines after Gardai carried out almost 7,000 checks last weekend.
The Avondhu reports that two pubs in the Cork North Division are under investigation as it's believed they were serving drink to customers while not providing them with a substantial meal.
In other cases around the country, Gardai found there were large groups at a table with little to no social distancing.
