Two wards have been closed at Belfast's Ulster Hospital because of Covid 19 outbreaks.
96 people have tested positive while being admitted to the hospital recently, with another 16 returning a positive test during their stay according to the Irish Times.
In a social media post the Trust managing the facility said staff are under 'extreme pressure' and around 200 people were waiting between the Emergency Department and on trollies.
The South Eastern Trust says anyone suffering from a life threatening condition will be seen to first, but others will be left waiting a very long time.
