Management at University College Cork have advised that the university's current adherence to Level 3 public health guidelines will continue for the rest of the current semester.
The college says the decision means many programmes will be delivered online for the remainder of the semester.
The email stated that 'small group teaching may be delivered either face-to-face or online, as per local arrangements with Heads of Colleges' and that 'Lab-based, clinical and practical based tuition, as well as tuition on accredited programmes, will continue where possible on campus in accordance with the existing infection control arrangements'.
