Teaching will be delivered in a hybrid model, which combines online and face-to-face elements

UCC says teaching will be delivered in a hybrid model, which combines online and face-to-face elements such as offering online lectures for larger class groupings and offering face-to-face seminars, tutorials and laboratory and field classes for smaller groups.

The University is putting into place a tutoring scheme for all first year students to support their transition into third level.

In an email to students, Deputy President and Registrar, Professor John O’Halloran stated “that the safety of our students and our staff is paramount” and that “as much face-to-face teaching and learning as possible will be provided subject to the prevailing national public health requirements.”

The last day of the UCC term will be the 18th of December.

UCC also confirms that in light of current government policy, all supplemental examinations will be online.
