UEFA says it wants Slovakia v Ireland to go ahead as planned.

UEFA has told Slovakia that it wants the Euro 2020 play off with Ireland to go ahead as planned.

The sides are due to meet in Bratislava on March 26th, however there had been doubts the game would go ahead due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Slovakian government has banned all sporting events until March 24th.

It's not yet known if the game will be played behind closed doors.

Meanwhile ticket sales have been suspended for Northern Ireland's upcoming Euro 2020 play-off game against Bosnia in Sarajevo.

The Bosnian Football Association have made the decision while they liaise with the relevant authorities on what's best to stop the spread of coronavirus.

It's understood that the match on the 26th of March is likely to be played behind closed doors.

Meanwhile la Liga games will will be played behind closed doors for the next two weeks.
