Ulster Bank announces changes to Branch Network and further supportive measures amid COVID19

Ulster Bank has announced changes to Branch Network and further measures to support and protect customers and colleagues during COVID-19

The measure include:

  • Elderly & Carer opening hours - For customers of Ulster Bank who need to visit a branch, until 11am, branch access is now prioritised for elderly/ vulnerable customers and their carers.
  • A dedicated vulnerable customer phoneline - Two new dedicated phonelines, one for elderly/ vulnerable customers, their carers and a second for healthcare and emergency workers to help those customers.
  • A dedicated healthcare and emergency workers phoneline
  • Online form for mortgage assistance - An online form for customers requesting a mortgage payment break has also been introduced to the website to speed up this process for customers .
  • 10 Non-Cash Advice Centres to close temporarily this includes two locations here in Cork; Winthrop St, and Wilton. (effective Friday 27 March)
  • All Saturday opening to temporarily cease
  • Mobile Bank on Wheels service to temporarily cease
