The Covid-19 vaccine portal is now open for 12 to 15 year olds.
Parents can register their child for a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine - online or by phone.
A parent or guardian's consent will be needed, and an adult must accompany the child to the appointment.
The rollout's beginning this weekend - and assistant professor of virology in UCD, Gerald Barry, says that's extremely positive.
"We know that children can be affected by this virus, not only can they be affected by it but they can also transmit it to others.
"These vaccines have been tested extensively now. Over 4,000,000 children in the US for example have been vaccinated - side effects are very low in terms of the adverse effects that can effect children."
