Five ventilators will be formally handed over to Cork University Hospital by the Lord Mayor tomorrow.
The ventilators were donated by Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai.
Consultants from CUH worked closely with the City Council to secure the delivery of the equipment, which was administered through the Shanghai Municipal Health Development Foundation and the Irish Embassy in Beijing.
Cllr John Sheehan will hand over the ventillators tomorrow at 11am.
