Walk-in vaccination clinics are open again this weekend for adults and children aged 12 and older.

However 12 to 15 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when entering a vaccination centre.

Walk-In clinics for the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine are open today in Bantry Primary Care Centre and City Hall.

They will be available tomorrow in both Clonakilty and Mallow GAA Clubs.

Damien McCallion is National Director of vaccine rollout with the HSE.

He says all the details required are on the HSE website:

"What I would also say is that we're encouraging children to come forward, to read the information with their parents in relation to the vaccine. And if they're looking to take the vaccine, we will have options around, not indeed just over this weekend, we're also continuing in many of our centres to offer walk-in clinics in the evenings. Again all the details and times for those are available on HSE.ie and they're updated daily."
