Mairéad Cleary has more for RedFM News:
'In what’s normally the best attended religious sermon of the year, this year’s Christmas celebrations will be very different. Just 50 people are permitted into a church under public health guidelines. Some churches have decided to host ceremonies in car parks while others have set up a raffle system. Speaking at the launch of the Black Santa Sit Out, Arch Bishop of Glendalough and Dublin Vicar Michael Jackson says a booking system is in place. Meanwhile Lord Mayor of Dublin appealed to people to remain cautious and considerate this festive period. With just four days to go to the Christmas period, St Ann’s Church hopes the tradition of faith at Christmas can continue.'
