Work Is Ongoing To See If Measures To Ease The Burden Of Covid-19 On Children Can Be Introduced In Phase 2

That's according to the Chief Medical Officer

The second stage of lifting restrictions is due to start on June 8th - and would allow larger numbers at funerals, more shops re-opening and the travel limit extended to 20 kilometres.

There have been calls for the likes of children's summer camps' to be allowed go ahead this summer if it's safe.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan says they're considering the options to help children and parents:
