The County Council is getting rid of its old boscaí bruscair from today.
100 percent of the Council's office waste will be transformed into compost using the Bokashi Bins.
The bins facilitate anaerobic fermentation to break down kitchen waste, including raw and cooked foods, meat & bones, fish, dairy, coffee ground, and fruit & veg scraps.
The resulting compost and liquid will be used as a fertilizer for the council's trees.
