Cork is set for an economic boost with 88 cruise liner visits booked in for 2022.
The Irish Examiner reports that 53 visits have also been booked in for the following year, with that number set to rise.
The industry has been shut down during the pandemic, however cruise liner visits are set to resume next year, with the first vessel due to arrive in April.
