Department of Health reported 1,144 new cases of Covid-19 this evening

The figure represents a decrease of 36 on yesterday's figures.

The five-day average has dropped to 1,438 - which is down almost 18 per cent on a week ago.

There are 384 people in hospital with the virus, of whom 59 are receiving intensive care.
