Electric Ireland is reducing its prices for the third time in the past 12 months.
Prices will drop by between three and five per cent depending on customers' plans and amounts to savings of between 40 to 85 euro per year.
This price drop will come into effect in November and impacts over one million customers.
Prices will decreased by 3% to 5% depending on customers plans, and amounts to savings of between €40 to €85 per year.
In a significant move, Electric Ireland has also announced it's not going to pass on planned increases which are due for all electricity suppliers next month, putting pressure on other companies to follow suit.
