Engineering and construction jobs are the hardest to fill positions in Ireland.
Analysis by recruitment website Indeed.com shows instrumentation engineers as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing managers are amongst the hardest roles to recruit for.
Senior Economist at Indeed, Jack Kenny says the tech sector is responsible for a lot of the demand:
"A lot of the roles are tech related. We see that companies are looking for roles like software developers, but also a lot of engineering roles in the mechanical engineering sector. We saw that the third most difficult to fill role was mechanical and electrical projects managers".
