Fáilte Ireland says it expects to publish updated guidelines for outdoor gatherings later today.
It's after the Attorney-General said 200 people can attend an outdoor party - after the fallout from Katherine Zappone's event.
Fáilte Ireland held talks with government officials yesterday to update their guidelines for the hospitality sector.
But Padraig Cribben, from the Vintners Federation of Ireland, says there will be limited demand for big parties outside pubs.
"Most of the outdoor areas that have been open have been quite busy.
"There's been a lot of talk of 200 outside - there are very few outlets that have capacity for 200 outside.
"But for those that have it would obviously be a very welcome development."
