Its report on the sector wants an increased focus on well-being for young children and families.
It says Parental Benefit should be increased and extended beyond the very early part of a child's life.
The party's Senator Mary Seery-Kearney says childcare providers also need more support:
"They need the administrative burden on them to be eased. We also need to work with the county childcare committees and empower them, the resource scale up their opportunity to ensure that there is a community response to childcare needs so that no matter where you are in the country, you have this universal access when it comes to supports in financial supports, when it comes to provision supports."
