Fire control says a fire caused threat to houses in Midleton last night.
It happened at Cuddigan's Yard around 9 o'clock and crews worked for 6 hours overnight to tackle the blaze.
Fire control told RedFM News that 3 units from the Fire Brigade arrived to the scene but 4 other units came for back up.
Crews remained on the scene until 3 o'clock this morning.
No injuries have been reported.
