A toy shop owner in Midleton says she feels ready for Christmas after most of her stock was wiped out by flooding.
There's still sandbags outside Little Treasures toy shop after flooding caused by Storm Babet last month.
Local business owners say they've been working tirelessly to get their shops ready before the Christmas lights are officially switched on this Sunday.
Speaking to RedFM News, Anne O'Sullivan of Little Treasures toy shop in Midleton says her business needs a boost this Christmas:
"I would have huge amounts of stock on the floor always so that it's at the level of the children, so it (the flood waters) did take out a lot of stock there , it took out all the stock on the bottom shelves. So many people who have lost so much and I think now for those people who are in a better position at the minute they would give out some help to the flood hit traders. Also it is a great help for people if they do come and shop local"
