A Flood Relief Scheme for Ballinhassig Village has come a step closer.
The scheme should protect eight homes, which have suffered significant flooding from the Owenabue River on several occasions.
The County Council are partnering with the Office of Public Works, who are funding the project.
Malachy Walsh and Partners have won the tender to design the project.
