Flood victims in East Cork say damaged roads means they now constantly feel at risk.
500 homes and 250 businesses flooded during Storm Babet last October and calls are continuing for interim flood relief measures to be put in place.
Over 50 million euro is needed to fix roads and infrastructure damaged during the storm but just 13 million euro has been allocated in funding.
Speaking to RedFM News, Caroline Leahy of Midleton Flood Action Group says locals who already fear their home or business could flood again now dread the dangerous roads around the county:
"There's major infrastructure issues that haven't been dealt with. There's fences still broken, walls still collapsed. There's very little has been done around East Cork since October. There is so many deaths on the roads we're at risk everything we need the house literally in the car and we're at risk in our homes as well. There's no safe place at the moment, our lives don't seem to matter when it when it comes to these things. We're just being completely overlooked".
