The Tánaiste wants the event to go ahead, after Laois County Council said yesterday it's not possible to revisit the organiser's application, which was rejected.
But Fianna Fail TD for Cork East, James O'Connor, says if it's not possible to host it in Stradbally, the organisers should move it.
He believes sporting organisations could help out:
"We could be looking at situations like hosting it in stadiums, where that may be possible. I think the overnight camping aspect of this music festival may not be something that could be possible if an alternative location was required, but I do think that our sporting organisations have a role to play in trying to save Electric Picnic."
