No timeline has been agreed for the long awaited re-opening of the Before 5 creche which closed abruptly in Churchfield last August
Northside Community Enterprises is taking over the creche and has been working to secure investment to bring the Before 5 centre back into operation
The NCE has met with the Children's Minister and is currently working with state body Pobal on funding talks
Wayne O'Donnell of NCE told RedFM News that he believes the outlook for the facility is positive
"Since the end of April, we've been engaging with a lot of different departmental representatives and local representatives have been very supportive fighting our case in Dublin. So the fact that the Children's Minister called here last Monday and the fact that Pobal were on to us on Friday for over an hour really seems like it's going to be a positive move"
