The Fund for Students with Disabilities in Higher Education is to be increased next year by €383,000.
The increase, announced by Minister Simon Harris, will bring the total spend to €8 million.
The extra funding being announced will help students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels who require specific and tailored support such as personal assistants, transport and assistive technology.
