Cork’s Brid Stack will make her Australian Football League debut this weekend.
The 11 time All Ireland winner with the rebels has been selected in the Greater Western Sydney Giants side to face Gold Coast Sounds in their season opener.
The 2016 Footballer of the year sustained a serious neck injury in a practice game for the club last year, but returned down under.
Speaking to the Giants website today, Stack says it’s a very proud moment for her.
