The draw has been made for the All Ireland Hurling qualifiers.

Cork have been drawn to face Dublin, while in the other tie Tipperary and Waterford will go head to head.

Those games will take place on Saturday, with times and venues to be confirmed later on today.

Cork booked their place in the quarter finals after a superb win over Clare on Saturday evening, the Rebels winning on a scoreline 3-19 to 1-23,  Patrick Collins' last gasp save from Tony Kelly helping the Rebels to advance.

Cork boss Kieran Kingston said they had to work hard to get the win against an excellent Clare team.

"The feeling is relief, initially. We always knew it was going to be 50/50 at best.

"We didn't know how our lads would react after three weeks off, would that be a disadvantage over a team that had super momentum after the last three games in the championships, and playing really really well.

"Clare are a super team, we saw that in the three championship games they should have played, they should have won the three of them. They play with huge character, huge honesty, huge integrity, huge work rate, and they asked an awful lot of questions of us today right down to the very last second of the game."

"We were sharp at times, and we showed some naivety at times as well on the ball and got turned over. You could see we were lacking a bit of match practice - yes we do a bit in house but it's not the same that that will give you there.

"In this heat it's a 20 man game. We've got guys that will get us to 45-50 minutes and then we've got guys to try and bring us home.

"A lot of these guys are very young, a lot of them are under 20 - they showed great character winning the All Ireland Championship a few weeks ago and they're great guys.

"It's just a manner of integrating them so that you're not setting them back, you're revolving and you're making these guys into Cork hurlers for the next decade.

"We trusted them, we trusted the panel, we always knew we'd need legs going down the stretch.

"You're trying to balance that with experience, you'd Seamus Harnedy off the field, Alan Cadogan off the field, Damien Cahalane ruled out with appendicitis,  Eoin Cadogan ruled out injured. Coming down here you're a bit concerned as you've only one player, Patrick Horgan, over the age of 24.

"That's the challenge then, coming to an experience team like Clare - a lot of them have All Ireland medals."
