A record 150 million euro is being provided under the government's sports capital and equipment programme.
144 million is being allocated to almost 1900 applications, with almost 14 million awarded to clubs and schools across Cork
The money will be used to make significant improvements to clubs to further their development and enhance their facilities.
Among the big winners are Skibbereen Rowing Club and Bandon Athletics Club who will receive €66,000 and €290,000 respectively.
Also receiving grants are GAA clubs such as Blackrock who will receive €89,268 for dressing room expansion and refurbishment work at their complex in Church Road.
Ringmahon Rangers are boosted by €76,000 as they develop a new astro facility.
A combined €300,000 will go to upgrading flood lights at Musgrave Park with Dolphin RFC and Sunday's Well RFC both based at the home of rugby in Cork.
The Dressing Rooms at Turners Cross will receive a face lift with the Munster Football Association securing €19,760.
