GAA President John Horan has called on the government to allow 500 spectators to attend club games across the country.

The Government announced on Wednesday that it would not be increasing the number of people who can attend outdoor events, which means that the current limit of 200 applies to GAA games.

Horan has asked the government to review those figures for the GAA.

Horan has also urged spectators attending games to wear face coverings at matches.

Only 80 people will be able to attend this evening's Wexford senior hurling championship match between St Martin's and Oulart the Ballagh outside of players and other essential attendees.
