The GAA will announce its revised 2020 championship fixture plan later this morning and there will be no backdoor in the Football Championship.
Instead, it’s believed the football championship will be a straight knockout with the existing 2020 provincial championship draws.
The hurling championship will still have a backdoor system with the championship season due to get underway in mid-October.
