Kevin McStay will be the next man to try and end Mayo’s 71 year wait for an All-Ireland title
The former All-Star was last night confirmed as James Horan's successor on a four-year term.
McStay - who is a native of Ballina - returns to inter-county management having stepped down as Roscommon boss in 2018.
Liam McHale is part of the backroom team, alongside Stephen Rochford, Donie Buckley and Damien Mulligan.
Rochford led the county as manager from 2015-18 losing two All-Ireland finals to Dublin.
Donie Buckley returns to Mayo with a wealth of experience. The Kerry man has coached with Galway, Limerick, Monaghan and his native county.
Buckley first joined the Mayo setup in 2012 and left in 2018 to join Peter Keane in the Kingdom, however he left after just one season.
