Cork have been dealt a blow ahead of Sunday’s All Ireland Final.
Orla Cronin’s red card shown to her in the semi final win over Kilkenny has been upheld by the Camogie Association’s hearings Committee.
That means as things stand Cronin is out of the clash with Galway in Croke Park.
However Cork have the option of bringing the case to the associations’ appeals committee, or the disputes resolution authority.
Cronin was cited for striking an opponent with the Hurley in the 57th minute of the semi final, an offence that carries a three game ban.
