The February and March winners of the Rebel Óg awards were honoured at yesterday's ceremony at the Clayton Hotel Silversprings.
Coláiste Choilm Ballincollig were the February winners after winning the All Ireland Junior A Camogie Championship
The March winners were St Francis College Rochestown, who were crowned O'Callaghan Cup champions.
RedFM are proud media partners to the awards, along with the Echo, with Cummins Sports the Award Sponsors.
Former Cork hurler Alan Cadogan is a coach with St Francis College, he told RedFM Sport it was a fantastic achievement for the school to win the O'Callaghan Cup.
"Anytime you win silverware for the school it's extra special.
"The last time Rochestown would have won that would have been 2015/2016, the Shane Kingston and Sean Powter era.
"Going in against a good Christians side, to be honest a lot of people wouldn't have seen a result go our way - they're 'A' Harty, whereas we'd be 'B' Harty.
"It's great for the lads leaving school, it's great for them to get a bit of recognition before they leave."
Jamie Cronin is Coláiste Choilm coach, and Cork minor ladies football boss, and was absolutely thrilled for his players after their All Ireland success.
"I think it's brilliant for the girls. Last year we were unlucky in the All Ireland semi final, and they were able to get a couple of steps further this year, and to bring an All Ireland A title back to the school was really special for them.
"To get recognition like this from Rebel Óg highlights our achievement further. The girls might over the summer when school term finishes realise what an achievement it actually was, to come out at their age level and be the best school team in the country is a huge achievement."
