Inniscarra's Sean O'Donoghue has been named as the Cork senior hurling captain for 2023 by new boss Pat Ryan.
The defender made his senior debut for the Rebels in 2015, winning a Munster Championship in 2018, and was an All Star nominee in 2021 after Cork's run to the All Ireland Final.
The 26 year old served as vice captain under Kieran Kingston last year, and succeeds Mark Coleman of Blarney in the role.
O'Donoghue was part of the Inniscarra side that dramatically defeated Castlemartyr in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship final replay.
