Gardai in Cork city are investigating after a man presented himself at Cork University Hospital in the early hours of this morning with gunshot wounds.
The man presented himself shortly after 5am, and remains in a stable condition at the hospital.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Wilton area of Cork City between 5a.m. and 5.45a.m. this morning Friday and who may have noticed anything unusual to contact investigating Gardaí.
