Gardaí have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in Ballincollig on Friday
The incident the second shooting reported in Cork this week.
Damage was caused to a front window of a house in the Ballincollig area after a firearm was discharged.
The incident happened at around 11.40am on Friday.
An investigation has been launched and Gardaí told RedFM news that there were no injuries reported in the shooting.
Gardaí are also looking for a gunman who fled in a car after shooting a man through his front door in Blackpool on Friday night. The man was left seriously injured and the abandoned car was found near the crime scene.
No arrests have been and Gardaí do not believe there is any connection between the two incidents.
