A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help an 18 year old seriously injured in an assault in Bishopstown on Saturday night.
Gardai are investigating the assault which happened shortly before midnight on Saturday outside a petrol station in Curraheen.
The young man was seriously injured during the incident after coming to the aid of his cousin.
He was treated at the scene by Ambulance services and taken to Cork University Hospital.
A Go Fund Me has now been set up to help the 18 year old to rebuild his smile after the attack.
They have raised over €2500 so far and have set a target of €10,000.
