The Government has delayed a decision to provide additional state funding for the Events Centre.
The long awaited 6000 seat venue for the city is not expected to be discussed at Governments last Cabinet meeting this morning, which means it will likely be delayed until September.
It's been over 8 years since the sod was turned on the venue and Cork City Council has asked for an additional funding for the project which is expected to cost around €57,000,000
