The Green Party wants young women to be given free contraception.
It's holding a public event today to discuss giving it to 17 to 25 year-olds as a priority, ahead of the Budget.
The party brought a motion to the Seanad in 2020 that sought action to roll out free access to contraception, beginning with this age group.
Green Party Councillor Donna Cooney describes what'll happen today:
"The Green Party are hosting a public event later today at 2:30, and people can book-in and go online. It will also be live streamed. It's to discuss free contraception for young women ahead of Budget 2022 called 'Towards Free Contraception For All'."
