Grocery Inflation Measured At 8.6% Over Past Three Months

Grocery inflation has been measured at 8.6% over the past three months.

Figures from Kantar show the level of price increases in supermarkets is still above the rest of the economy.

Throughout November the number of visits to the supermarkets increased - however compared to last year - fewer items are being bought each time.

While, the cost of a Christmas dinner for four people has increased by over three percent.
