Homeowners with brown dirty tap water in the city say they’re extremely disappointed that Uisce Éireann won’t meet with them this evening.
TD’s asked Uisce Éireann to a meeting in the Maldron Hotel in Shandon this evening after thousands of complaints of water discolouration.
Uisce Éireann says it received an invitation but a representative will not be able to attend the meeting.
Speaking to RedFM News, Sonya Cashman from Spring Lane in Blackpool says its devastating for anyone who has had dirty water for the last 18 months:
"We are extremely disappointed with this, it's just them saying that we don't care that you're throwing out your washing, your kettles, and it's really just a big blow to anyone suffering with this for as long as we are."
