Householders in Cork can recycle their old Christmas trees from tomorrow.
The City Council is setting up Christmas Tree Bring-Sites at seven locations until the end of the month.
It will be free of charge to drop your tree between 8am & 5 pm at:
- Gus Healy Swimming Pool, Ballinlough (adjacent to the green)
- Clashduv Park, Togher (adjacent to bring bank site)
- Ballincollig Regional Park, Ballincollig (on green adjacent to bring bank site)
- Murmont Road, Montenotte (adjacent to the green)
- Sam Allen Sports Complex, Gurranabraher (adjacent to the green)
- Tramore Valley Park, South Link Road
- Cork City Council offices, Glanmire T45 YD83 (green in front)
Meanwhile, the County Council is also providing a free Christmas tree drop-off service until the 31st of January - at its civic amenity sites.
