The latest figures show 89% of adults have received at least one vaccine dose while 76% are fully protected.
6 million doses have now been administered across the country.
Paul Reid says the vaccination programme is four weeks ahead of schedule:
"89% now, partially vaccinated adults. 76% fully vaccinated. So we continue to dose twos for those people who need to receive the second dose in August. So we're probably about four weeks ahead of where we thought we would be."
