10 million Ukrainian people are in need of humanitarian assistance.
That's according to UNICEF, while 5 million have been forced from their homes due to the ongoing Russian invasion.
Medical supplies and vaccinations are urgently needed for children and young people,
Executive Director with UNICEF Peter Power said the situation needs urgent attention:
"Over 3 million people - children - need continuing education, having been forced away from their schools. That means providing water, sanitation, hygiene, medical supplies, vaccinations and continuing education for children. So the situation in Ukraine continues to be very difficult".
