At least three people have been killed after a shooting at a US university - with the gunman later dying, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Five people have also been taken to hospital from Michigan State University, about 90 miles northwest of Detroit.
Some of those are in a life-threatening condition.
Chris Rozman, from Michigan State University Police, says they're trying to identify the suspect and his connection to the university.
"We are relieved to no longer have an active threat on campus while we realise that there is so much healing that will need to take place after this."
