500,000 people are at risk of famine in the Horn of Africa.
The region which includes Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, and South Sudan has experienced four failed rainy seasons, and a fifth is expected in October.
23 million people are in need of humanitarian support, and five million children are malnourished.
Concern is warning 350,000 children could die, without intervention through international funding.
