Actor Idris Elba has announced he has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Luther star revealed the news on his social media accounts. He said he was tested as a precaution after learning he had been in contact with a confirmed case of the virus.
Elba went on to say although he hasn't experienced any of the symptoms of the virus, his test results still returned positive.
The actor used his platform to explain to his fans the importance of social distancing at this time and to take the warnings seriously.
